YoungMee Yoon leads the Bioresearch Field Applications Scientist team at Molecular Devices. She’s passionate about helping customers accelerate their research through advanced microplate reader technology. She began her career in biotechnology at Molecular Devices in 2016. As a field applications scientist, YoungMee directly works with the internal sales team and customers across universities, pharmaceutical, and biotech companies. Her main focus is on meeting customer needs and providing a stellar experience with Molecular Devices microplate readers. YoungMee earned a PhD in biomedical sciences focusing on developing type 1 diabetes vaccine from the University of Florida in 2014 and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Kyung Hee Uni-versity in Seoul, South Korea.
