Magaret Sivapragasam, PhD

Magaret Sivapragasam, PhD, is an active biotechnologist and a science communicator. She is a recipient of the IUPAC Periodic Table of Younger Chemists, bearing the element Ytterbium, and selected as CAS Future Leaders (2017), a division of the American Chemical Society. Seeking to make science more conversational, she founded and writes for the Facebook group “Sembang Science.” She was featured on 100 Scientists of Malaysia and received the KOTEX She Can award.
