Malvern Instruments Ltd (Malvern, UK) has today (July 25) announced that it has completed the acquisition of MicroCal from GE Healthcare Life Sciences and has also purchased the Archimedes particle characterization system from Affinity Biosensors LLC (Santa Barbara, CA). Both of these developments extend Malvern’s portfolio of analytical solutions for the rapidly advancing biopharmaceutical industry.

Malvern Instruments Ltd. (Malvern, UK) announced today (June 4) that it has entered into an agreement with GE Healthcare Life Sciences  to acquire the company’s  MicroCal™ microcalorimetry business.  Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to complete in the third quarter of 2014.

Malvern Instruments Ltd (Malvern, UK), a leading global provider of instrumentation and expertise for materials and biophysical characterization, has acquired nanoparticle characterization company NanoSight Ltd (Amesbury, UK). The acquisition was completed on Friday 27 September 2013.
