LPA Announces Speaker Series Breakfast Program during Pittcon 2018

The LPA Speaker Series Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, February 28 at 7:30am in the convention center and will welcome back Joshua Waldman, PhD, research associate for Cleveland Research Company. Josh will discuss the overview of how the markets performed in the prior year (2017) with a focus on major end markets and geographies. He will review the major themes that Cleveland Research believes influenced demand throughout the year.

In addition, the presentation will provide a 2018 outlook by end market and geography, highlighting the markets they believe members could expect to accelerate or decelerate vs. the prior year. He will touch on the catalyst that Cleveland Research Company believes could create upside or downside to growth in the end markets vs. the prior year.

Finally, Josh will offer the audience an overview of where they see Amazon in the lab currently. He will highlight the opportunities and risks that customers have identified as it relates to broadening their relationship with Amazon in lab distribution and discuss other healthcare markets that Amazon appears to be pursuing.
